Running Rules

1. At the time of registration and pay the amount of this, the athlete claims to be in full agreement and knowledge of the rules imposed by the organization of Ironman 70.3 Pucon Agrosuper also benefit from the implementation of them.


2. The value of the entries will have two (2) sections. First section from May 9 to July 11, 2011 the fee is US $ 350. Second section from 12 July to 11 November 2011 the value is US $ 400.


3.In case of the waiting list will open only during the period from 14 to 30 November 2011.


4. There is no refund of total registration fee for any medical or personal argument. In case of resignation will be reimbursed 25% only until august 30, 2011. If the athlete is enrolled after this date, there is no possibility of return.


5. Registration is not transferable to persons under any medical or personal argument, and neither is deferred to the 2013 version, or others.


6. The competition will have a duration limit of 7 hours. Lagged runners will be removed from the competition.


7. Athletes will respect the event staff's instructions.


8. Judges will have the authority to disqualify any runner.


9. Medical staff's decisions will be final to prevent a runner from participating as a consequence of his/her poor physical condition.


10. Any non-sportive or improper behavior in connection with the competition staff will cause the athlete's immediate disqualification.


11. Should an athlete quit the competition, he/she shall notify any of the organization's judges within 30 minutes. If he/she fails to do so, he/she will not be admitted in future events.


12. The organization reserves the right to make any changes in the competition rules, informing the same in a technical lecture.


13. The attendance to Saturday's technical lecture will be mandatory. Last instructions and the competition bags will be delivered.


14. Any complaints against penalties or against another runner will be submitted in written to the trial's general judge not later than 30 minutes after his/her participation has ended, or he/she quitted the race or was disqualified.


15. According to the norms of Ironman international, from 2009 the athletes that compete in events Ironman and Ironman 70.3, including Pucón 2010, compete in the age cathegory that corresponds to his age at december 31 2010. Therefore, for example, an athlete that is 24 years old on january 24 and turns 25 june 30, compites in Pucón in the age group 25-29 years old.
